The previous site relied heavily on AI-generated content and featured an overly cartoony design. Our goal was to deliver a professional, polished website redesign that better represented the company.
Refreshing the Brand
This client was looking to uplift an old brand that hadn’t been marketed actively in quite some time. They had some existing content to work with but also introduced us to new logos and updated brand styling.
We partnered with their logo designer, using the logos to create a fresh branding guide. The client specifically asked for blue as the primary color with orange accents, which we honored and integrated with complementary orange highlights throughout the site, being careful not to overwhelm the design.
Showcasing Established Customer Reviews
Because the client was already an active business owner of a junk removal company for quite some time, it was important that we highlighted customer reviews and naturally incorporated them into the website design. With the Google Reviews plugin, we designed a review slider that fit into the website’s brand and also showcased positive reviews on various different site pages to support conversion-focused website design.
Future Scheduling Integration and Blog
At Wes Web, we design websites with future growth in mind. Even if a feature isn’t needed immediately, we plan ahead so the website can scale as the business evolves.
One Call Clean Out was not quite ready for full online scheduling integration on their website. However, we wanted to make sure it was easily accessible for them once they were ready to launch it. We designed the infrastructure for this on their website behind the scenes, allowing these features to be activated quickly when the client is ready and without requiring a redesign. We showed the client how to quickly enable it with a few simple clicks to make things easy when they’re ready to go.
We also recognize that this particular website is just the beginning, and more content will come with time. That’s why we enabled the blog feature to support future SEO and content marketing efforts, simply hiding it from the menu until its ready to be published.

A Creative but Memorable Web Address
Selecting a memorable and professional web domain was an important part of this project. Many domain variations of the name “One Call Clean Out” had already been taken. We considered straying from .com and going with .co, but this just didn’t seem to be the best approach in the current business climate and based on our location.
Our team members worked hard to come up with ideas for a memorable website domain that fit well with both the company name and its services. Along with feedback from our client, we settled on the domain occojunk.com.
